The legend surrounding the mountains of Luang Prabang. According to the story the mountains are two lovers who tragically died next to each other.
According to a Lao legend the river Mekong that streams true Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam is made by gigantic water snakes called 'Naga'. You can see Nagas all over South-East Asia guarding the temples. In my comic you can see a typical Lao style Naga and Cambodian Naga fighting. Check out who wins!
This drawing is inspired on Lao textiles. I have made a small legend of some of the symbols that you can find in the drawing. The symbols are made by the Hmong people an ethnic group in Laos. Try to spot them all!
