Hello!
My name is Paulien Baudu and I am an illustrator who lives and studied fine arts in Ghent Belgium. Drawing is my way of thinking. My work finds it’s inspiration in my daily life, my travels and the social encounters I run into.
I always try to find the poetry in our society by observing reality and giving it a little twist. Imagination and a hint of humour are really important to me. That’s why I always keep a sketchbook journal with me to find inspiration.
I mainly draw manually and edit my works digitally for publication. My style is detailed, sometimes miniaturist and various in media. I like creating my own works but also enjoy commissions making publications for organisations, magazines, comics, posters, web publications, postcards, etc. It’s always nice to collaborate and create an original way to convey a message.
